Psalms 110

The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

1 aThe Lord says to my Lord:
bSit at My right hand
Until I make cYour enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2 The Lord will stretch out Your strong dscepter from Zion, saying,
eRule in the midst of Your enemies.”
3 Your fpeople
Lit will be voluntary offerings
will volunteer freely on the day of Your
Or army
power;
iIn
Or the splendor of holiness
holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn,
Or The dew of Your youth is Yours
Your youth are to You as the ldew.

4 mThe Lord has sworn and will nnot
Lit be sorry
change His mind,
“You are a ppriest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is qat Your right hand;
He
Or has shattered
will sshatter kings in the tday of His wrath.
6 He will ujudge among the nations,
He
Or has filled
will fill them with wcorpses,
He
Or has shattered
will yshatter the
Lit head over
chief men over a broad country.
7 He will aadrink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will ablift up His head.
